The School Educational Support is ongoing, for more than a year now, and we are very pleased that the students of Classes 4, 5, 6 and 7 at the Anchepalya Government School continue to benefit, thanks to the support of some very dedicated volunteers.
At the Sakshara Learning Centre in Anchepalya, there is a steady increase in the number of ladies coming for skill building sessions on crochet, knitting and sewing. Computer and English Literacy classes are being held regularly. The ladies also enjoyed session on Mehndi and eyebrow-shaping. The sessions are planned according to whatever the ladies express a need for, and the sessions are often taken by the ladies who have the skills. It is wonderful to see the women offering to help newcomers to acquire skills.
The ladies had so much fun learning the basics of eyebrow threading, thanks to Divya.
